Fake Escort Pictures

This is one element that has plagued the online escort market for many years. When prospective clientele go onto escort websites the only indication of how their date could look like is through their pictures. Many illegal escort agencies post fake pictures on their website and also promote those pictures on other online resources. The obvious dishonesty is a good indication that the service is going to be poor or in some cases non existent. Obviously those pictures are of real people, so they are being promoted as escorts without their knowledge. It could be harmful as they could be in a job, somebody finds their picture on an escort site and all a sudden things become very stressful for them. The majority of pictures that are fake are taken from model websites or stock photography websites.

Agencies sometimes take pictures off other agency websites and post them on theirs. They may feel those ladies look more attractive and those pictures would be most appealing. So unfairly they are taking what is not theirs. Professional escort photography can often cost hundreds or even thousands of pounds. One way to protect against it is to put copyright notices on you website as well as watermarking the pictures with your service name or web address. That way it will deter others from stealing them and putting it on their website. For independents some steal others photos and pass themselves off as the person in the photo. There are many escort directories where independents don;t need a website. Just a few pictures, an e-mail address and a contact number.

A good thing that has evolved out of this are people within the escort community post online in forums and message boards escorts who use fake pictures. As a warning to others not to use that service. Obviously clientele join in and are the actual driving force behind that now.

The destructive side to fake pictures for clients is you are not meeting the person you thought you would. That itself can leave alarm bells ringing and open to crimes committed against you. As the person in the picture is not real, then who says the person behind that has real intentions of providing an escort service. Many clientele post on forums on how when they turned up for the date, the person they met was not the person they saw in the picture. A very unprofessional way for agencies to be conducting themselves.

One if the most famous examples of this was when it was reported in the media that allegedly an agency called Luxurious Collection posted a pic of ex rangers star Maurice Edu's girlfriend on their website. Read the story here.

Fake should make you immediately think that some sought of scam is in place. There can be no good or professional intentions behind anybody who needs to resort to this.
